END-ROUND SUMMARY
ROUND 22: NOV. 7 - DEC. 19
This round marks the start of a new units system. Henceforth, unit plans
must be purchased and assigned to a mechanic's bay in order to build units.
How did the asteroid of Cincomm-9 fair under the new system? Let's review.
One preliminary thing. I tracked more stats than normal this round.
Based on the score stats, I am giving everyone a designation. I realize
that some people may feel the designation should be given based on how a player
set up his or her base. But the setup can change, a player may start as a
miner setup and later switch to an attacker setup or vice versa. So this
designation represents an overall strat stance of the player from a final
score view point. Generally, in
addition to the DM count, a player is designated one of the four styles:
- (A): attacker - earned more than 60% of score from attacking
- (H): hoarder - earned more than 60% of score from holding kdrones
- (M): miner - earned more than 60% of score from mining resources/crystals
- (B): balanced - earned 30%+ of score in spread among three or more styles
- (AH/MH/AM):
- earned 40%+ of score in two styles, primary style listed first
Newer players should now be able to get more of a sense for how vets have played and what has worked.
