MID ROUND SUMMARY
A lot of mixing up marked the begininng of the Forth Cycle of Cincomm-9. In a shock move, the two of the top clans from last round disbanded. RBL and the mighty DFWD, which was
the oldest and most veteran clan of on Cincomm-9. The title of oldest clan now falls to Metro.
New additions to the leader board in game give us access to some new clan stats. Looking from this mid point, we see clan Aegis has grown into the new super
power for this era, gathering 12 members and maintaining a dominating lead in the "Most Active Clan" category, posting a staggering 500+ posts at midround in their clan forum.
For a brief period, the "Most Aggressive Clan" was OvL, which seems to have been formed of mostly former DFWD members. However Aegis has taken the lead in that
department as well, sending it's armies on an incredible 200+ attacks. Aegis has even managed to displace METRO from the top of the "Overall Rep" categorey. This clan
is a force to be reckoned with indeed.
Making a new show and entering the battlefield are clans TRAKER and bhot. TRAKER has already managed to put itself in the forefront by amassing 11 members and rising
to third place on the "Most Aggressive" board.

END ROUND SUMMARY
Aegis held on to maintain its position as the top clan on Cincomm-9, proving its dominance by occupying the top 4 slots in the HOF. We are starting to see a pattern here...
though which clan is the clan may be up in the air early in the round, whichever clan can take the top by about mid-round has been able to hold on for the
rest of the round. In round 3 Metro-DOM held the top in the beginning, but was displaced by RBL. RBL's victory in that round was some of the most
strategic battle choice selection/planning the game has ever seen. Brings to mind the words of Master Sun in The Art of Warfare:
| |
"... the victorious army only enters battle after having first won the victory, while the defeated army only seeks victory after having first entered
the fray. |
As members of DOM they joined with METRO and defeated the reigning super power, DFWD. Then at just the right moment, the formed RBL and crushed the new
super power that they already knew well, having helped to create it. A brief study of the HOF records will show that this is the only time that a
super-power was defeated after having risen during a round. However, the rounds have been relatively short lately. Round 5 will mark the longest round seen
to date. Big picture planning and strategic inter-clan policy tactics will grow in importance for clans that are hoping to achieve super-power status.
This round also marks the first time since the rise of the clans in the second round that a non-clan player placed in the HOF. In a way though, Willy_Wonka is
not truly a non-clan player since he was in and out of clans during the round.
