Well it seems Old Man Winter is finally returning to our area. We are supposed to get the largest snowfall we've had in at least 14 years. We are expecting 10 inches, though balance guffaws and says it will be an inch. It's been so long since a great snow. I am hoping for wet snow. The last snow we had was dry and you couldnt make snowmen or snowballs.

I'm so excited! I feel like a kid again! I want to make an igloo like we did when I was a kid. Gonna suck missing work but oh well.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Grin

you living in the path of that big huge snowstorm coming towards me that's in Texas and Oklahoman right now? were expected to get 12 inches. Also i totally agree with you out last snow a few weeks ago was about 5-6 inches but completely dry. no fun at all. But last year we had an ice storm that dropped 4 inches of ice on us. The ground was like frozen for a month

Yeppers forts, same storm. And that last snow we got 4 inches of dry snow. It sucked! We got lucky last year with that ice storm. We got a glazing here but 20 miles to the north was hammered!

Well, just got up (slept in for a change) and no snow. Seems it going to take a bit longer for it to get here so now I have to go to work. Booo :p

And dont get me wrong, I hate winter. Spring and early Summer are my favorite. But if its going to cold might as well have some good snow to play in.

40 degrees and sunny! doesn't sound too bad Nich.  Grey and cool here. Although happily I was in a mosh pit last night. Have got a wicked bruise on the ribs to show for it Grin.
Enjoy the snow folks!  Too bad Condis is not still playing; he would have lots of extra to send you nearly all year round Wink.

40degrees celcuis and cloudy, with like 90 percent humidity most of the day

Yeah the mosh pit is quite fun, until the bouncer pulls the crowd surfer towards the front and you recieve a nice boot to the head or a heel to the face

Good: we got quite a bit of snow, not as much as expected.
I got to have a Saturday off from work.
Had fun with the family, great pot of chilli and Death by Chocolate.

Bad: dry snow (still boggles me how water can be dry) no igloo, no snowman, no snowball fight. Booo!

ours was kinda dry. Ok we had a layer of 4-6 inches was really nice to make things with. Than on top of that like another 3-4 of dry snow. Not so good. But than the sun cam out. It was aswome. Anywhere the snow was not like interrupted it stayed but otherwise it turned to a really wet type snow that was perfect for ingloos. I made 2 walls each about 8 inches thivk and 3-4 feet high. tomorrow i'm gonna finish it up by 2 more sides roof than jsut packing lots and lost of snow on it
