Welcome to the Minewars WikiManual!
The official game manual is good for getting a grasp on many of the basics of the game, but development of Minewars often outpaces updates to the manual. The Minewars WikiManual can be updated by users, so it will grow and contain a lot of the more detailed and specific answers that the manual leaves out.
If you are looking for information, there are a few ways to find it here. One way is to use the search box to the left. Another is to simply browse through the left side menu to look for what you want. Each folder (folders are actually called “namespaces” in DokuWiki) has an “index” page in it that explains a bit about what you will find in that folder. Last, you can click on overall WikiManual Index in the upper right corner to see a full list of all available pages and folders.
While you are playing Minewars you will inevitably learn new things that are not in the manual and might not be in the WikiManual yet. Or maybe you couldn't find an answer to a question in the manual, but someone answered it for you in the forum or in a in-game mail. Here is where you can help! Either create a new page to share the knowledge, or find the page here where it should be and include it by editting the page.
Click “Login” in the upper right to create an account. After creating an account, mail wufeylong (cordinates 1:1:1) in game to request editor status. Registered users with editor status can edit. Registered users with exec_editor status can also create new folders and new pages. Basically, any page that can be editted has an edit button. All you need to do is click the edit button and you can update the page. You can find a brief overview on the special syntax used in editting pages in syntax.
For creating new pages, just go to the index file in the appropriate folder. Each index file has a “Create New Page” form. Type in the name of the new page, click the button and you're ready to go!
